OK...y'all are going to think I have lost my mind....no seriously you are...haha
I am going to learn Psalm 23. The whole thing. You see, I miss my Granny Capps tremendously these days and it was her favorite. And when she was in the hospital we read it to her a lot. And then when Ms Shelby was so sick she wanted folks to recite it with her. So I think it is important enough to learn the whole thing...in two pieces. I'll do 1-3 this time and 4-6 next time.
Ps 23:1-3 (NIV)
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Let's hear your verses...and invite a friend to join us!
See ya!

I keep finding myself going to Ephesians alot lately so I guess I gotta pick an Ephesians verse that has spoken to me over and over again. I love Ephesians 2:10 but think I am gonna try 2:8-10. I know these anyway in part so it shouldn't be too hard. Once again thanks for keeping this up. I love being able to call them to memory or hearing someone else use MY verse and I say to myself - I know that one. Yay Me!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have a hard time asking for help. Especially help from God. I feel like sometimes I am letting him down when I have to ask for help from him. So my verse is 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
